Xia Wenhuan is the Executive Secretary of the Beijing B&R International Co-Incubation, an independent, membership-based, non-profit and non-governmental network, with the mission of connecting the incubation service providers together and facilitating their partnerships. Previously he was the Managing Director of the International Technology Commercialization (CCPIT-CIECI), where he led an international technology transfer team and managed international innovation zones throughout China. Xia Wenhuan works with local governments to facilitate international technologies and startups to the Chinese market as well as bring Chinese companies or investors to the global market.

 

Richard Deng is the Chief Representative Officer of SPI China since 2005. Richard Deng is responsible for the activities within the Beijing SPI office, interacting on a daily basis with the offices in Portugal.

Richard Deng works with a wide range of European SMEs in developing their business opportunities in China - including the promotion of investments in China, promotion of business cooperation between EU and China companies (more specifically SMEs) and the facilitation of market access of EU companies to China. He has more than 5 years of valuable experience with European Commission projects, in particular projects that aim to foster EU-China cooperation and policy dialog in terms of trade and science, technology and innovation. Being based in China, he has excellent knowledge and experience of a wide range of Chinese sectors (including agro-food, green building, healthcare, machinery, transportation, ICT, pharmaceutical), and has excellent networks of key stakeholders in Chinese government authorities, associations, universities, research institutes, science parks and various business sectors.
