ELIO DE TULLIO
Elio De Tullio is an Italian lawyer admitted at the bar of Bari and trade mark attorney. After 10 years of experience in IP matters, he founded in 2005 the law firm De Tullio & Partners, with offices in Rome and Bari and a liaison office in New York. Managing Partner of De Tullio & Partners, he acts as trade mark attorney in the strategic assessment
of IP protection and in prosecution and opposition processes at domestic and international level. He is also a litigation lawyer before the Italian Courts specialized in Intellectual Property. He specializes on trademark, design and patent issues, from a strategic, business intelligence, competition, filing and prosecution perspective. He has written some articles on Italian and European law on intellectual property rights which have been translated into Chinese and South-East Asian languages.
DR. SARA MEDINA
Dr. Sara Medina is a Member of the Board of SPI, contributing to the overall management of SPI's activities and services. She has coordinated projects for public and private sector around the world, including projects for international organisations in innovation management, technology transfer, R&D, internationalisation, sector studies, establishment of partnerships, training for SMEs and policy development. She manages projects funded by the European Commission, the World Bank and IADB. Dr. Medina is an expert and International Committee Member for International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN) in which she promotes international technology transfer. Dr. Medina has a Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering from the College of Biotechnology in Portugal, a European Master’s degree in Food Studies from 5 major European Universities and a Ph.D. in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida, USA. Dr. Medina has concluded courses on Innovation and Leadership at the Universities of Wharton and Harvard and completed the INSEAD Asia International Executive Programme. Recently, Dr. Medina finished the Advanced Management Program, from Católica Lisbon Business & Economics and the North-Western Kellogg School of Management.
JAIME ONG-YEOH
Jaime is an Associate Partner at Hofstede Insights, a boutique culture consultancy that helps clients manage the impact of culture on work and life. She helps companies build an effective organisational culture to support their unique business strategy, while appreciating and leveraging the influence of diverse national cultures in their multinational organisation.
She is also a contributing author to the CUBE IN platform.
Prior to specialising in culture, Jaime focused on change management for large scale business transformation projects, specifically large multinationals setting up high-growth centres in Southeast Asia such as shared services centres and regional/global centres for business services, as well as large scale IT systems implementations. Her clients have included leaders in the oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, financial services, and construction materials industries.
Jaime has Masters in Managerial Psychology, and is an accredited practitioner in Intercultural Management and Organisational Culture from Hofstede Insights. She is based in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia and has lived in, worked, and visited over 20 countries.
