MARIA ALEJANDRA HENRIQUEZ
Maria Alejandra is the Head of Inbound Investments and Business Development at ProBarranquilla, the investment promotion agency for the city of Barranquilla and the department of Atlántico.
She has 5 years of experience in promoting and attracting investments at ProBarranquilla. She has worked in the areas of marketing and communications at the Clinical Excellence Commission of the state of New South Wales in Australia; economic research at Fundesarrollo; and in external affairs at the SENA in Barranquilla.
Maria Alejandra has a bachelor's degree in International Relations with an emphasis on international economics from Universidad del Norte and has a Master's degree in Commerce and Marketing from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
GONZALO ANDRES VARGAS ALVAREZ
Gonzalo is the Investment Manager Europe at ProColombia. He joined ProColombia in 2010 and has held strategic roles in the promotion for direct foreign investment in Colombia. His most recent leadership role is being the European investment team leader. Prior to joining ProColombia, he worked at IG markets in London, UK, as an Investment Analyst Officer Latam for nearly three years.
Gonzalo is a professional in Government and International Relations from the Universidad Externado de Colombia and has a postgraduate degree in Negotiation from the Universidad de los Andes.
